Campus Information
Hello Kelley Elementary Families! I am excited and honored to welcome each and every one of you to the beginning of a new school year at Dr. Harmon W. Kelley Elementary. I have had the privilege of serving the School of Excellence in Education for the past (13) years in various capacities, but I must say none of the positions I have held compare to the Principalship. It is not a job rather a calling on my life and I am grateful to have the opportunity to do so each and every day. This school year will be a year of change! Students, Parents and Community partners can look forward to encountering a highly intensive and challenging academic program that will push students, teachers and support staff to work beyond their limits. Our goal is to ensure that all students become critical thinkers, active problem-solvers, inquisitive readers, diligent researchers and prolific writers. We do all of this to prepare them for the demands of the real-world so they may be able to compete in a global society, become our present and future leaders, and contribute and/or give back something positive to the community that has given to them. However, we cannot do this alone; we need your commitment too! We will face some challenges, because that is a part of the journey, but there is nothing that we can’t and won’t accomplish together. Thank you being a part of the Kelley Elementary school community where we don’t make or take Excuses, because Success is not an option…..but an Expectation.
